Fees/Cancellations

Fees for Service: $206 for 50 minutes. 

 You do not need a mental health care plan to see us.  

 If you decide to get a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP a rebate of $98.65 per session may be reimbursed through our online Medicare system. Medicare can generally take up to 24hrs to process your refund back into your account.

A current Mental Health Care Plan is required to claim the rebate. 

We are fully committed to your therapy. 

Please ensure you record appointment times and dates in your diary. We require a minimum of two days' notice if you are unable to attend, otherwise a cancellation fee of $110 will be charged.

"No Shows" without notice will incur a full fee, as we block others from accessing your timeslot. With a little notice we are happy to change your appointment to a Telehealth session if you can't make it to the clinic on the day. 

Not required if you do not want to claim a rebate.  Otherwise ask your GP if you qualify for a Mental Health Care Plan, as it enables a rebate towards the costs of your Psychology fees. Up to x10 sessions per year may be allocated by the GP.

Make sure you let your GP know you need a Mental Health Care Plan, as they may require a longer appointment. Your plan must be submitted as soon as possible and prior to your first counseling session to claim your rebate (Medicare requirement). 

  If you have private health care check whether your policy covers part of the costs. You can claim either the Mental health plan rebate or Private Insurance, but not both fees. Check which one suits you best. We also accept Workcover, NDIS, DVA and VA referrals.
