Fees/Cancellations

Fees for Service: $206 for 50 minutes. 

 You do not need a mental health care plan to see us.  

 If you decide to get a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP a rebate of $96.65 per session may be reimbursed through our online Medicare system. Medicare generally take 24hrs to process your refund back into your account.

A current Mental Health Care Plan is required to claim the rebate. 

Ask your GP if you qualify for a Mental Health Care Plan, as it enables a rebate towards the costs of your Psychology fees. 

Make sure you let your GP know you need a Mental Health Care Plan, as they may require a longer appointment.

Your plan must be submitted as soon as possible and prior to your first counseling session to claim your rebate. 

 Talk to your GP as they can offer up to 10 sessions per year with a mental health care plan, under certain conditions. You do not need a MHCP to attend therapy, but a rebate may help with your costs and fees.

We are fully committed to your therapy.  We require two days notice if you are unable to attend, otherwise cancellation fees of $95.00 will be charged. If you do not show up for an appointment without notice we will charge the full cost of the session.

If you cancel within 24hrs of your appointment a full fee will be applied..

 Cancellation fees are not claimable through Medicare and will be deducted from your card details provided at the time of booking. We will do our upmost best to accommodate and change your counseling appointment with enough notice, we do require 24hrs notice if you are unwell.  

  If you have private health care check whether your policy covers part of the costs. You can claim either the Mental health plan rebate or Private Insurance, but not both fees. Check which one suits you best.
